Why not ICMP?
Web pages cannot send raw ICMP echo packets. HTTPS timing is the accurate browser-safe alternative.
What is a good result?
Under ~50 ms feels snappy for many apps; 50–100 ms is typical; over 150 ms may feel laggy for gaming or calls.
